  Jak has done work for us twice and both times the service has been excellent. The first time Jak reduced and shaped a large Walnut tree and the second time he performed maintenance on three fruit trees and three silver birches. Jak is very knowledgeable and takes care with his work. He also works quickly and left the garden tidy removing all waste. I have recommend him to friends who also need tree works.

  Jak has just finished a splendid day’s work for us cutting back trees, trimming hedges, and leaving everything nice and tidy afterwards. He's a hard worker, knowledgeable and friendly, polite and punctual, and very competitively priced. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

  Jak carried out the cutting back overgrown trees very efficiently. Everything cleared away and tidy. We wouldn’t hesitate to contact again. Brought him back 3 years later and did the same again. Fantastic service

  I recently hired Jak’s Lumberjack Service, and I couldn’t be happier with the work. Jak is professional, punctual, and clearly knows his way around a chainsaw. He tackled a couple of large trees in my yard that were dangerously close to the house, and handled everything safely and efficiently. Not only did he remove the trees with care, but he also cleaned up thoroughly afterward. Jak is also just a top bloke — easy to deal with, fair with pricing, and clearly takes pride in his work. I’d recommend his services to anyone.

  Employed Jak too remove a fir tree leaning towards our property, he expertly & professionally climbed it and removed it in sections,i would recommend him too other’s with no hesitation..

  This is the second time I’ve had Lumber Jak to do some tree work for me. This time he felled four medium sized trees, two which had ash dieback. Every tree fell exactly where Jak chose it to fall. Two of the trees he climbed to clear lower limbs first.Jak is reliable, knowledgeable and clearly skilled. Definitely recommend!
