  Thoroughly recommend Alex Carrah. Came this time to install Ring doorbell and Ring camera portable device. He is always extremely professional, organised, knowleagable in what is available and would work, good at explaining things, helpful and very nice. Also cares about installations being done well and fitting with the environment. He is also always on the phone/email if I have problems eg. with Starlink or whatever he has installed. I'm so pleased I found him!

  Alex undertook maintenance of our alarm system and also provided a refresher tutorial on the alarm system, as well as providing some best practice tips on mobile usage in an area with very poor mobile signal.

  I found Alex on the Web and chose him because his reviews were very encouraging. It's always difficult to pick someone you don't know and there's always a risk. Well.
  Alex agreed an appointment day and time and kept to it, keeping me posted along the way.

  potential final cost I asked him to carry out the extension of my domestic WiFi network from the main house to the garage, to enable better communication with my car charger and PV Panel control system. This was expertly achieved and within the cost and timescale discussed, and I now have exactly what I require in terms of extended WiFi.
  I have only good things to say about Alex and, without hesitation, recommend him for this type of requirement.

  Alex installed new outlets, access points and poe switch. He synchronised all the existing equipment, tv box, firestick, bt box etc. Working really well. He’s so knowledgeable; whilst he was here he unravelled all the questions we had about Starlink so will definitely get Alex to install this at a later date. I would highly recommend his services.

  I’ve used Alex for about 10 years. In that time he has installed and modified our broadband installation, WiFi networks and security cameras system.All work has always been carried out quickly, expertly and with the minimum of fuss.   Since we moved to Devon in early 2023, Alex has helped us in many ways with the phone, internet, smoke alarm and security systems here. He has helped to upgrade the existing system, replace faulty CCTV cameras, install a new infrared illuminator, relocate the CCTV computer and screen set up, improve the hard wired networks (with multiple wireless access points across the large site), fit a new external access point, replace the existing faulty phone line junction box, decommission some existing “DIY” systems (not installed by him). He has always been very professional while also very personable, while also encouraging for us in our ongoing home improvement project here. It is always a pleasure to have him working on our house and we feel very fortunate to have had the benefit of his services since he moved away from the neighborhood. He gave us sound advice on what was needed and the process we needed to follow with regards to removing our landline and switching to a new broadband provider.   We were very concerned about excess EMF from our Wifi and Alex was recommended by a friend. He completely sorted our problem and reduced harmful electromagnetic levels within our home and yet still gave us top internet speeds throughout.   Alex installed a new wireless network across our Regency styled Crescent, now offering uninterrupted fast Wi-Fi speeds to our 46 individual Apartments. Since the install, we haven’t received one complaint about our Wi-Fi. We also had CCTV cameras installed at the same time, plus an extra one to stream our amazing views to a webcam. Alex is a really professional person and I would highly recommend.

  Had a problem getting wifi signal to my son’s ‘games room’ at the back of our house due to concrete walls. Sky tried with a booster but failed.Saw Alex’s advert in this publication. Contacted him by email. I recieved a prompt response and he came to coduct a survey with a couple of days. Gave sensible options resulting in him fitting an external ethernet cable.   Alex installed total coverage wifi in the house after testing, on a previous visit, revealed we weren’t receiving the full benefit of our fibre broadband. He is an extremely tidy worker, explained absolutely everything very clearly and checked we were happy with location of equipment/wiring etc before commencing. The final bill exactly matched the original quote with no extra charges. He is also a very pleasant, friendly chap (with great taste in music!). We cannot recommend him highly enough. Eleven out of ten!

  Alex came to my house at the time he said he would, having rung first to confirm. Nothing was too much trouble and the internet problem was quickly diagnosed and works put in hand straight away to rectify.Moreover, as a ‘health check’ of the system, he identified other issues with the BT line and then proceeded to improve this dramatically. Speed up from 3mbps to 12.5mbps with coverage throughout the (quite large) house. Brilliant, highly recommend.

  I called Alex to sort my mothers, dodgy phone line & Broadband, after being let down by another person. He immediately booked an appointment for the next day, (yesterday). Arrived on time, got straight into his investigation, finding out there was a, faulty socket due to moisture issues. He duly replaced the socket, putting an extra socket to cancel the issue of leads.   Alex came to look at a problem with my broadband speed and wifi connectivity in my home. Having found a problem he dealt with Sky (Thank goodness as they were most unhelpful!!) and has sorted all the other issues!
