  Joby Spencer has just stripped & repainted our 19th century chapel windows, replacing any broken panes.I can honestly saying he is a true craftsman.The transformation in the windows is exquisite!Joby is a hard worker, very neat, clean & tidy.It was a pleasure to have found such an exceptional craftsman.I cannot recommend him enough.

  Joby has just decorated our upstairs and downstairs hallway and lounge. He also stripped back our wooden staircase, removing the dark stain to reveal the natural wood. Joby is a pleasure to have around the house and the dogs love him. His work is of the highest quality and he is very meticulous with everything he does. He is clean and tidy and accommodating as the scope of work changed. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Joby most highly and are already booking him in next year.

  We recently had the outside of our bungalow painted and also the wood surround of our garage repaired. Joby did a great job, explained any extra costs and made sure we were happy with everything.   Joby painted the inside of our house (a converted barn). The work was done to the highest standard possible with recommendations from Joby on getting the best finish. He completed all internal walls, windows and door and fully restored the damaged wooden oak floor to look like new.Joby is an efficient fast worker with abundant skills in all he does and I would HIGHLY recommend him.

  After contacting Joeby for a quote on our listed building’s windows, professionalism and honesty were at the forefront of his agenda. The nature of the work was made quite difficult due to the age of the windows and lack of care before the purchase of the property and also because the previous materials used to mask such errors. Our windows look brand new and keep in line with the properties appearance.   In April 2021, Joby and his team completed the third of three very creative garden landscaping projects for us at Westford, Wellington. They designed and built tasteful stone walls, steps and a stone flag patio, discussing details with us at each stage.The work also involved liaising with a neighbour who spoke highly of the team and they were all very sensitive to garden wildlife issues throughout the course of construction. They’re a great team–can’t recommend too highly!

  Superb quality of work – all decorating done to an excellent standard, to schedule and for a good price. The dado rails in two rooms were removed as part of the redecoration and the wall finish was perfect – no sign that the dado rails had ever been there. Not only great work but everything left clean and tidy at the end of each day.

  We employed Joby Spencer of ZS Painters and Decorators Ltd. to repair our dining room ceiling after a water leak. Joby came to assess the job and explained clearly what needed to be done and sent a quote promptly. The work was carried out the following week. He did an excellent job, grinding down previous layers on the entire ceiling, sealing damaged areas and applying 2 coats of paint.   Joby Spencer has just completed garden work for us, erecting fence panels and reducing the height of a very tall privet hedge that had been neglected for years. The fencing was a difficult job because of restricted space and having to dig out concrete to locate the posts. He was incredibly hard working, cheerfully carrying on with the job despite heavy rain, and he cleared up very carefully afterwards. We were so impressed that we have now asked him to quote for external painting. Highly recommended!
